I first got into the scene back in 94 when I started listening to Hardcore and Jungle.
I went to my first club not long after called Diehard in Leicester which was playing Hardcore
at the time, from this night I was hooked. I bought my first Technics 1210s in 1995 after listening to a
DJ Easygroove tape (which I still have) and started buying Hardcore.
I regularly attended events such as Slammin Vinyl, Hardcore Heaven,
Dreamscape at the Sanctuary Milton Keynes, HTID and last but not least Kinetic in Stoke on Trent....
I got my first break at playing out in 2004 at Rush Hour in Nottingham, playing Hardcore and after this I played at Vibalite at Club Mission in Leeds at 'the Golden Opportunity'.
After this I hit a bit of a brick wall, not much happening after that.
Unfortunately the area that I live in does not have much of a scene and to be honest,
at times it was hard to keep motivated but, I persevered and decided to look at new genres
of music that interested me like Nu Skool/Hardcore Breaks.
Then in February 2008 I helped a friend put on a night and
we booked Altern 8, Bunter, Faydz and I also got to do a Nu Skool Breaks set.
My music genre's are Hardcore / Nu Skool / Rave Breaks, Hardcore & Happy Hardcore and Old Skool
I also like to play Hard Dance.
This gave me a reality check and made me want to push myself to play out and in July of 2008 I got the opportunity to play at Kinetic the Ressurection!!!! in the main room.
From this night I was made Resident (Respect to Errol for giving me the chance)
I also played a 2 hour set at the The Next Chapter !
I am glad to be part of Kinetic and I see it only getting bigger and better
and look forward to being a part of this....
Looking forward to the next event!!!!
Respect!
